A large barn converted into a large 7 bedroom property, with internal steel frame and considerable structural works required to the existing foundations and timber frame, new roof structure and external walls, fully insulated and internally a mezzanine floor built to the main barn for upper floors with bedrooms.
Working closely with Brentwoods Councils Heritage department due to the Grade 2 listed status of the barn we also managed to work with them in adding a large garage complex to the side of the barn replicating the main barn which the architects could not get approved previously.
