A large project undertaken for an existing developer client for the construction of 4no new build houses and conversion of the existing listed Hotel into apartments.
A new technology we used in the construction of the new build houses was the use of a Nudura insulated concrete formwork as the client wanted to achieve a ecologigical and environmental building to assist with general heat loss and running costs.
We had specialist training which we invested out time in and are now an approved installer for this type of building method which can gain costs and timescale advantages for new builds.
With the alterations to the existing Hotel building we worked strictly under a watching brief via Local heritage and the architect ensuring modern designs, acoustics and fire protection measures did not effect the existing fabric detail of the building.
